About Me

I would never call myself an artist by any means, but I LOVE being creative. I’m obsessed with using my hands to create new things especially using paper, ribbon and fabrics.  Whether it be making my own cards and invitations, or just thinking of eclectic ways to use paper to wrap gifts and such, I have a passion for all things paper.

I cannot walk into a stationary, paper or craft store without wanting to pick up, touch, feel and buy everything on the shelf! I also love using textured ribbons and bright colored papers to give a gift that special touch.  I truly enjoy the beauty of a delicately wrapped gift, and don’t think you can ever go wrong when you put love and care into gift-wrapping.

Along with paper products, I am a wedding fanatic!  I am down right obsessed with weddings, spending many of my days scrolling wedding blogs, and sifting through wedding magazines for hours on end.  I cherish any wedding that reflects the uniqueness of the couple it is celebrating, and love when a wedding has a whimsical and charming touch.  I believe there is nothing more pure than a bride and groom looking into each other’s eyes the moment right before they say their “I Do’s.”  Weddings are pure magic, and I hope that one day I can play even a small part in the wonderful world of weddings.

I have been a nurse for over 3 years now (wow!).  And my nursing career, although rewarding, does not always lend itself to my creative side.  Through the support and listening ear of both my husband and closest girlfriends I have been inspired to try something new.  I want to use this blog as a means to explore my potential for creativity… could my ‘”craftiness” be more than just a hobby, but rather a career in and of itself?  My plan is to post my newest paper creations, thoughts and ideas for gift-wrapping, invitations, card making and much more.  I will frequently post pictures of the things that inspire me to design, including my travels.

I am currently jumping feet first into the next journey in my life, and am hoping that this journey includes a bit of weddings, paper, blogging, working side by side with couples, and a whole lot of creativity. Thank you for following me on this journey and please let me know if you ever want me to wrap a gift for you or help you create the invitation or wedding of your dreams!

    Jenn!

What a natural fit for you. Thinking of your amazing inventiveness, organization and follow through around multiple events for our couples, it is easy to see you developing your own “papier” business. So many of us are already in love with your creations and gifts in this area, you have a ready-made clientele. Already thinking of upcoming events requiring decorations/gifts for which I may enlist your savvy and sage advice. You go, girl!!

When Jenn created the baby announcements for our little girl, June, I was simply blown away. Her style carries a subtle sensibility with an offbeat flair that felt tailor-made for us. It’s the Haute Couture of the paper world!

June’s nickname throughout pregnancy was “ladybug,” and Jenn presented an announcement that had hints of ladybug whimsy on an expertly chosen black, grey, red, and white palate. The Pièce de résistance was a petite ladybug button tastefully tied with red and white string. They were the perfect combination of class and style. I felt so proud to honor June-bug’s arrival with one-of-a-kind announcements full of such poise and perfection! THANK YOU JENN!!!

    Hi Jenn,

after reading and checking all the pictures you’ve been posted, i would say that you might want to try yourself as a photographer.

I’m working in advertising and honestly some of your pictures could easily work for some of my clients.

    just a thoughts !!

    see you later in Paris
